INTERIOR DESIGN

  • Cool blue

Artists like Picasso, Matisse & Yves Klein all had a blue period. Blue is a feeling, evoking calm and it is forever classic. For this project the client and I bonded over our love of the color blue.

  • OYSTER BAY COUNTRY HOME

Nestled among a canopy of tall trees sits this lovely Oyster Bay home. We renovated the living and media rooms from top to bottom, pairing creamy neutrals for an elegant look with deep rich blues as a gentle nod to the nearby ocean. The custom cabinetry created visual focus and addtional storage and display space. The touches of wood and marble add natural elements creating visual richness and texture. Because we like our clients to be relaxed, we used indoor outdoor textiles in the media room to allow carefree access to and from the outdoor pool.

  • Chesnut Hill Vibes

For this project the clients wanted the home to reflect their personal philosophy and style. Design is more than decoration, it’s a vibe. Our aim was to tell the visual story of the people who live here. The pieces we chose had to look good and work hard. The art needed to have meaning. Texture, color, and a fun hippie spirit run through this loft-like home.

  • Pop Playlist

This space tells the story of this young family, who are fun, relaxed and nostalgic. We leaned into pop culture and travel to make this mid-century house a home.

  • Gilded Gatsby

This stately home was built in the 1930s. Glamour, impact and a wow factor were words we circled from our first consultation. Situated not far from where the Great Gatsby was set, we looked to literature and fashion for our inspiration.

  • Upper East Side, NYC

The owners of this NYC penthouse wanted to preserve its' great bones while also taking it up a notch. We tore down walls to allow more natural light to flood in as well as enhanced access to the epic NYC views. The modern kitchen is outfitted with glossy white cabinets grounded with warm natural walnut. Hi-tech touches include the seamless cooktop embedded directly into the countertop and a super functional galley sink. Black and white patterns provide a bold graphic element throughout the home. Keith Haring’s iconic work inspired the Sam Simon hand-painted murals in the children's room, and opal gemstones inspired the wall treatment in the little girl's room.
